Solutions for limited vertical spaces
BioHorizons short implants feature the Laser-Lok® surface technology across the entire implant body with no machined collar for faster osseointegration and higher bone to implant contact.20 They are ideal for anatomically challenging conditions.
Laser-Lok 3.0 dental implants are designed specifically for limited spaces in the esthetic zone and are placed easily with 2.0 and 2.5mm drills. The two-piece 3mm design offers restorative flexibility in narrow spaces. The 3mm threadform is shown to be effective when immediately loaded.21
The One-piece 3.0, originally known as Maximus, is indicated for long-term replacement of missing maxillary laterals and mandibular incisors. It has an overall success rate of 96.7%4 and was the first implant of its kind when it was launched in 2003. Despite its size, the One-piece 3.0 has been shown to be stronger in "load-to-failure" than other implants less than 4mm.23 The One-piece 3.0 achieves solid results with only 0.53mm bone loss at 12 months.24
Overdenture dental implants offer affordable denture stabilization for many candidates with ridges too narrow for placement of wider, two-piece systems.
